Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of EcomLinked. By creating an account you agree to them. Contact: squarezoned@gmail.com.

1. The service

EcomLinked imports Amazon settlement data (via the Amazon Selling Partner API or file upload), categorises transactions, calculates VAT and split-month rollovers, and produces journals, invoices, bills and CSV exports for QuickBooks Online and Xero.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the selling business you connect.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You authorise us to access your Amazon, QuickBooks and Xero data solely to provide the service.

3. Not tax or accounting advice

EcomLinked is a bookkeeping tool. Default account mappings and VAT treatments are a starting point. You and your accountant remain responsible for reviewing entries, VAT returns and filings. Always review items shown under "Please check" before posting.

4. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful use, reverse engineering, scraping or attempts to access other users' data.
  • No use that breaches Amazon, Intuit or Xero platform policies.

5. Subscriptions and trial

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance after any free trial. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Third-party services

The service depends on Amazon, Intuit and Xero. We are not responsible for their outages, API changes or data errors, though we will work to restore functionality promptly.

7. Data and privacy

Your data remains yours. Our handling of it is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses, penalties or lost profits. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under English law.

9. Termination

You may permanently close your account through the workspace profile menu after confirming the deletion warning. Export any records you need first. Entries already posted to your accounting software remain under your control. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. On closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
